Too late for daffodils?

amy_in_sc(z8 Sville, SC)March 23, 2010

This past fall I ordered some daffodil bulbs and put them in the garage and forgot about them. They are starting to sprout on their own. Is it too late to put them in the ground? Any advice?

ASAP into the garden, If you have bonemeal dig in a little for future years' nutrition. It won't burn the new roots as superphosphate will if contact is made too early.
