Please help identify this tulip

megzee(5)April 14, 2012

Last fall, I purchased some tulip bulbs that were supposed to be Tulipa humilis 'Alba Coerulea Oculata'. I instead received some bulbs that developed into short red tulips. They just opened today, so they bloom pretty late for tulips. I'm not an expert on bulbs of any kind, but I would like to know which variety this is. Could anybody help me out with this?

It looks to me like it is linifolia. See Link below.

yep, definately T.linifolia. What a swizz - alba coerulea are soooo expensive too. Much more so than linifolia.
