What to do with Ranunculus after it goes dormant?
I bought a Ranunculus this spring and it did very well. It had beautiful blooms until the heat came. I do know that Ranunculus goes dormant over the summer. However, this is where my dilemma comes in.
Should I leave the Ranunculus there without digging it up? Will it come back in fall? Or will it come back until the next spring?
If I had to dig up the plant and get it's bulbs, should I plant them in fall or should I wait until next spring?
I really like this plant; even so it only blooms for a short period of time for me. Also, I do know that bulbs that come from the same plant will not grow up to be exact replicates from the mother plant, but I would not mind that at all. I would love some variety.
