I would like to keep a small boxwood bonsi but I would like it more I I didn't need to put it into dormancy

Unless it's a buxus harlandii, you'll not be doing it any favors and it won't do you any back. The harlandii can be kept by knowledgable people indoors (as they do in Japan) but most others have to be outside and go dormant to grow in future.
