Bonsai... Plant with ORANGE flowers?

Serenity.WSeptember 13, 2013

Hello, I'm just starting out with doing a Bonsai. I want to do it as a gift to a friend eventually. Does anyone know of a plant (like a shrub, roses, or tree) that blooms in orange? And I don't mean a pastel sort of orange, I mean bright and beautiful like the California Poppy. I don't want too red of an orange or too yellow of an orange...

Any suggestions for a plant to bonsai along those lines? (if so could you perhaps show me a picture or something?)

Google "bougainvillea bonsai"

I believe there are some orange varieties.
