This was apparently a stowaway in my Dutch Iris order. It is a delicate appearing bloom, and I would like to order some for fall. TIA.
Could they be mini glads? I am not sure do to the picture. I have several but not up and blooming yet here. I like them because I don't have to dig and store.
Whatever they are, I want more of them. thank you Ellen, I will check that out.
They are nice, I wonder if there's any chance they are hardy further North.... guess I'll have to check into that. I'm guessing probably not since the mini glads didn't make it when I tried them.
They do look like some sort of gladiolus. Here's a link that might help.
Here is a link that might be useful: byzantine glad
That is exactly it kato. I ordered some last fall and they started blooming in the last couple of days. I think I am going to love them. They are so delicate looking. Judy
I love them, and Ellen hit it right! I am ordering more of them since they are so delicate but lovely.
Oh no. Something I have never seen or heard of until now but have to have. Now to figgure out were to put some and order them with my Brent and Beckies fall bulb order.
Gladioli byzantium. I tried them, and loved them, but they petered out after a year or two in my garden.
