how many muscari for 50 tulips?

redsox_gwMay 28, 2009

I am planting my first 50 tulips this Fall in a spot. How many white muscari (forget the name) would you recommend in front of the tulips: Pink Impression. Can I get away with 50 muscari or would you recommend no less than 100?

Muscari are small;
I'd plant at least 100 to 150 to balance against the tulips
(that's only 2 to 3 per tulip).

sounds very pretty!

Always remember muscari will reseed itself if allowed to so it will spread readily.
