Horse Manure

marvey(5)July 27, 2014

I am planning to dig horse manure into my vegetable garden soil at the end of this season. Does is matter how old the manure is? I can easily get manure that is 4-5 years old but I'm worried it may have lost it's 'zing'.
Thanks for any help.
