Caladium (first time)

LKZZ(7b)July 13, 2013

On a whim I planted some discounted Caladium bulbs in my shade garden (about a month ago). They are not clumped together, but more spread apart (directions said 5" apart). Pretty things, so diverse - loving our unusually wet subtropical summer here in Upstate South Carolina.

I wish I could grow them as well here. Our climate is just too dry to suit them. Al

Nice display! You really did a great job and they look real happy where they are. I hope they fill in more as the season goes on, But I hope not too much to hide the rocks you have scattered around in there.
