Growing freesia indoors

tangerine_z6(6)August 14, 2013

I am wondering if I can force/grow freesia indoors? I live in zone 6. My Father has always loved the smell of freesias and I would like to be able to provide this for him on a regular basis as he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Is this possible or do I need to find a local florist? My Father and I thank you in advance!
