Pink Surpise Muscari?

mla2ofusSeptember 26, 2013

I just saw these in a catalog for the first time and really like them. However the cheapest I can find them is $14.98 for 10 bulbs. I would like to get them but only if they are as hardy and multiply like the old fashioned purple muscari. Has anyone grown them and can tell me what they are like?

I would wait a few years for the price to drop. If they're good the price will come down quickly since muscari usually multiply like weeds!
Just guessing, but I bet they will be more like the white ones, smaller flowered and less showy than the blues, but still a nice contrast.

Thanks for answering. I decided to take a chance on them and ordered 2 sets of them. I have a shady walkway and think clumps of them would brighten it up more than the blue ones, though I intend to plant some of those also.
