Anyone know of a source in the US for velthemia bracteatea bulbs? Thanks, Celeste

They are pretty common so I would think there are quite a few sources for the standard one....V. bracteata (pink and yellow) and V. capensis......the one source that comes to mind is Telos Rare Bulbs. She can be slow to ship, but a great person so I give the benefit of the doubt......Mine did not come from her, but I did get a Stenomesson a couple of years ago and ordered some bulbs for a friend this summer and they were very nice.

I love Veltheimia as they are easy to grow, the leaves look great and the flowers are quite lovely as of luck :o) Dan

Brent and Becky's list V. bracteata but have sold out this year. I think McClure and Zimmerman offer it as well. Mine came from a plant sale in FL but I haven't had a good place to winter it until this year so it's never bloomed. I'm looking forward to seeing something this winter/spring.

Dan, do you fertilize yours, and if so, when and with what?
