Using 5-1-1 a second year?

queensinfoMarch 24, 2013

Should I scratch some additional lime into the mix? I have 14 inch pots with rasps and a little larger pots with blackberries. They still drain pretty quickly and there is no chance I am going to be able to find a large enough quantity of bark in short order.

I think there a few threads about reusing 511. To the best of my memory the suggestion was to add 1/2 of the lime you ordinarily would. But I'm not exactly how much to add if you aren't adding any new bark to the mix.
