Mulching Dutch Iris

Prettypetals_GA_7-8October 28, 2010

Do you mulch them or is it better not to? I know Bearded Iris aren't supposed to be mulched on top of the rhizome (or whatever its called) but wasn't sure about Dutch Iris. I mulch the majority of my beds with pine bark mulch but may put them in beds that only get leaf mulch. Was thinking of ordering a bunch. What cha think? Thanks, Judy
