rebaru(z5 QC)November 30, 2010

I planted lots of bulbs last autumn (09) (this year too, okay!) among them daffs like tte--tte. lovely last spring they were. well, a few weeks ago, i spied SEVERAL tte--tte up! not unusual weather.... i guess no flowers from those early birds in the spring....

Not necessarily. Granted, I live very far south of you, but I have numerous early spring bulbs up, as usual. They always blooms right on schedule. They're tough plants.

I have some galanthus (snowdrops) blooming now. I've never had them bloom in the fall before. The earliest they've bloomed here has been February.

well, daffs take longer to flower than snowdrops, so they haven't bloomed. crazy! i wonder what confused them? the weather hasN't been bizarre.
