I just put a lamp post in,and I would like to plant some bulbs. I don't have a clue how or what to buy. I will say,we have a family of squirrels that live in our yard.

Any planting tips would be appreciated.

Given how late in the year it is, the best approach might be to wait until spring and plant some Asiatic lily bulbs.

hogan nj if the nj indicates you are in in New Jersey I would agree. However if it means "no Joke", and you are really in California, there are still many spring blooming bulbs you can plant now. I am in the middle of planting my Tulips and Daffodils here in northern California. Al
