I just got a very over grown tiger eye viola, and wanted to know if I can root the cuttings when I trim it back.
has anyone tryed it, can it be done?
I haven't personally tried it, but I've read that supposedly they're pretty easy to root from cuttings. Also, I CAN say from personal experience, that cutting off the leggy stems will help the original plant grow back from the base. So at any rate, try it! At the very least, your 'mother' plant will benefit by growing back bushier.
