actotis/arctotis ?

corgicorner(Mass 6/7)December 3, 2006

I have a plant that has what I(male)would call purple daisy-type flowers, and white/silvery deeply cut foliage. All the information I can find lists this as an annual with very different flower colors. I have googled this plant by the above names and got nothing decisive. The plant is outdoors and has withstood some frost. If you are knowledgeable about this plant I would appreciate your contacting me and let's see if we can possibly identify this plant. Possibly the plant is not one of the above.

I'm fairly certain what you describe is acrtotis....a half hardy annual. I had it in 2005, and it was a lovely plant that withstood several frosts b4 biting the dust.

It comes in many lovely colors.
