HAVE: Narcissus Tazetta (Chinese Sacred Lilies)

sun_worshiper(FL 9b)February 10, 2013

After 3 years in a row of no blooms, I've concluded that it is too hot in FL for these to grow, so I've dug out my entire clumps.

I have 20 bulbs of narcissus tazetta orientalis, Chinese Sacred Lily:

And 20 bulbs of narcissus tazetta orientalis, Double Roman:

Bulbs multiplied well, but can't get them to bloom. I'm hoping someone in an area with more chilling hours would be interested in a trade.

I would especially love to trade for Arum italicum or red Oxblood lilies (Rhodophiala bifida). My trade list is up to date as well, and lists other things I'm seeking.

Do you know if they are hardy in zone 5, if so would love to trade something from my trade list. Just checking in.

Illinoisdoglover, I don't believe these are hardy in your zone. Thanks for checking though.

Thanks all for your interest - I have found trades for all of these bulbs - there are none left.

I have some white irises if your interested. I'm not sure of the latin name, but they grow like crazy, and they look wonderful in March.

Cornmuffin, I don't have any of these bulbs left, but feel free to take a look at my trade list to see if I have anything else that interests you.
