Foliage Pro in EVERY watering, even every day?

jenn(SoCal 9/19)May 30, 2012

On the hottest days this summer I'll need to water some of pots every day. Currently I'm using the recommended amount of 1/4 tsp. for every watering, once or twice a week. Should I use the same measurement for every watering no matter how often -- daily, every other day, or weekly?

As long as you are making sure to water well enough with each watering that a good percentage runs out the drain holes, you should be just fine.

It is a good thing to tie fertilizing lightly to watering. Usually the more water you use, the more fertilizer will be used as well. As howelbama said, allow significant run off and that will help purge excess salt buildup.

Use reduced dosage per watering.

One quarter teaspoon per gallon of water is only 25% of normal dilution and if watered as suggested above will work well. Al
