Can you identify this juniper?

It's planted near my house and I love the color and shape. Any ideas? I'm in zone 5. Thank you!

Thank you!

After googling Tam Juniper I agree, it looks just like it. I thought maybe Buffalo Juniper but Tam looks like the ticket.

Never heard of it, I wonder if it's hard to find. Hope not, it's pretty good looking for a juniper! :)

I don't think you will have a hard time finding a Juniper tam. Around here, it's the most common Juniper of all. It's also invariably planted too close to a sidewalk or driveway. It gets over 12 ft. wide and doesn't look well when sheared to keep it in bounds.

Stunning at its current size and in that location. I think this is the same one that I've also seen spilling down a retaining wall - it does that very well too. I agree that sheared it wouldn't do it's thing nicely at all.

Hi again Botann! Long time no see.

'Tamariscifolia' and 'Buffalo' are both Savin junipers. There are others as well.
