Plant Identity?

missmary(6b)April 8, 2011

Would so appreciate it if someone wouldn't mind going to this link and identifying the yellowish plant growing along the garden bed in the front. First row planted just behind the stone.

I tried to cut, copy, paste - etc. everything! - to put the picture here, but couldn't.

Thanks bunches.

I'm suspecting it doesn't grow in my zone, but I need to make sure. Fist step: find out what it is!

Looks like Spirea, 'Goldmound' perhaps.

Try the plant ID forum, but for the record my guess is some annual; the whole bed looks like annuals (or things that are hardy in California) to me. You just have to go to a different plant for the same look in another zone... say Sedum Angelina maybe, or snall gold-coloured hostas, or gold Heucheras, or hey, a well-pruned Spirea Goldmound.
