Architectural flaw

willeApril 2, 2011

We have a space in the front of our house where something needs to be hung or planted to give the house a better look. I am looking for suggestions, such as a type of tree, bush, plant or design. We have a neighbor with the same house plan and he put a wrought iron wall hanging in this space and it looks pretty good. We live in southwest Florida, so consider this for planting suggestions. Thanks

Disagree on wall art. Just my two cents, but I think a tall shrub to replace short-shrub #2-from-the-left would be much better.

Which direction does your house face? Is that morning sun or afternoon sun?

The physician can bury his mistakes, but the architect can only advise his client to plant vines.

Trellis with a delicate (as in not a heavey mass of foliage) climber .... like Frank said.
