soil depth/pot size for morning glory and sugar snap peas

balconygirl(6a)May 16, 2013

I'm starting to plan to plant, waiting for our long May weekend. I'd like to know how deep/shallow soil needs to be for morning glories and sugar snap peas, eg, 8 inches, and, does the soil need fertilization?

This information will help me find a suitable pot, not necessarily a proper pot. I already have the potting soil. Thank you!
