Foliar feeding for Garlic?

bart1(6/7 Northern VA)March 14, 2011

I've read that you're supposed to do a foliar feeding to your garlic bulbs/plants in the early spring when they start to grow. Unfortunatley, I haven't been able to find anything specific on what to use?

Should I use 10-10-10 or 2-2-2 or something different?

Miracle Grow or Fish fertilizer?

Etc, etc?

Any sugguestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Bart

Garlic need a high N fertilizer early on. I don't know about a 'foliar' feeding, but you are feeding the foliage so it can make bulbs.
