Bird feeders in the landscape...

How have you incorporated your bird feeder into your landscape? What's underneath it? What do you do about the seed mess? I love my feeders, but am interested if anyone has any good idea's for placement so the seed mess isn't so obvious.

My bird feeder is in a garden, surrounded by plants. There is some lamium growing under the feeder that hides the seeds pretty well. I also mulch with chopped up leaves, so in the spring, I put a layer of leaves all over the garden which covers up the seeds too.
