Containers/buckets as deer deterrent
I have some 5 gallon buckets (and a couple other smaller containers) and was considering planting various fruits/veggies in them (i.e., strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini). My thoughts were that I can place them in the proper place for their sun/shade requirements during the day, and put them in my detached garage overnight in order to avoid the deer that just love to jump the fence into my 30'x30' back yard (yea, it's tiny). Am I thinking logically, or would constantly moving the plants not be a good idea? I have not had much success at keeping the deer away, even when I planted my lone tomato and lone bell pepper plant in the front flowerbed, hoping to camoflage it.
