Lanscaping -- honeysuckle for hedge?

hlechat(5 (the colder edge of 5 :-))May 3, 2011

I have a chain link fence along my back yard that I'd like to 'hide', and grow a privacy hedge.

I am considering honeysuckle, and am wondering about the pros and cons. Is it ethical to plant bush honeysuckle? Are some better than others?

Am literally and figuratively "on the fence" on this, pun intended. Looking forward very much to your thoughts and input.

Some types of honeysuckle are invasive. Most types are very aggressive growers which need to be thoroughly managed. My guess is that you could come up with a better choice.
