Starting my design

frida999(7)May 10, 2012

I have a question about beginning design. I have my beds drawn and a general idea about colors, plants and the general style, but I'm not sure about what to place where. I want to use drifts of grasses and perennials, small bushes here and there. Should I start with grasses and then work from there?

If you have any suggestions about design books, that might be helpful too

My Question has been answered in the post below about methodology of design. Very helpful!
