greens being eaten?

leuconoeJuly 31, 2014

What's eating my greens? When I transplanted one like this plant, I noticed a small blue-green caterpillar-like bug in the soil. Should I spray the soil with soapy water? Try to dig out the bug? Any advice?

There are any number of possibilities (slugs, earwigs, grasshoppers, etc.), but I doubt that spraying the soil with soapy water will have any effect. I'd suggest checking after dark with a flashlight -- you might catch the culprit in the act.
