Avocado leaf veins yellowing

wwb4(8/9)July 14, 2014

I received 4 "cold Hardy" trees in mid may that I'm assuming are mexicola grandes. I potted them in 4-5 gal containers with sand, perilite, cheap bark dominate potting soil and some pro-mix potting soil. They are about three feet tall now and put out a new flush of growth three wks ago. The new growth is a much lighter than the older leaves and some have yellowing veins. I've gradually moved the trees where they now receive sun from 8am-1230. There have been white flies for a little over a wk but are controlled for now. Any help diagnosing this and any other tips would be appreciated. There seems to be a lot of contradictory info on the web. Thanks again

Can't tell much from these leaves, really.
From where on the tree did these leaves come, and what does the tree look like overall? How are you fertilizing?

looks like a nutrient deficiency to me. Hit them with some liquid Miracle Gro.

The leaves are midway up to lower but somewhat random. I mixed in a slow release organic granular fertilizer and some Epsom salts but didn't add very much considering the size of the plants. I misread that your not supposed to fertilize much the first yr. I have also sprayed it with a very diluted worm castings tea a few times. Thanks for your replies
