5-1-1/Gritty work in the hot, dry desert?

Oxboy555(Las Vegas)August 21, 2013

I live in Las Vegas. How does Al's mix work in desert containers? Anybody from the hot, dry southwest (LV, Phoenix, Tucson, SE California, etc) have any success or horror stories to share using the mix?

Are you out there watering your containers 10x/day in July with the gritty mix? :)

Gritty mix and 5-1-1 both work great for me in West Texas. I usually water once per day.
