North facing garden shed

LoriAnn1044August 24, 2012

I'm already thinking about next years gardening! I bought some cone shaped baskets that I intend to hang on my garden shed doors. I'd like to know what annual plant(s) and vine(s) would be a good choice for my North facing shed.

When you say north-facing shed, do you mean that you have light / windows to the north?

Frankly, I wouldn't hang anything on the doors. Walls/doors get cold, and doors swing out into the frosty air when you open them. Why not hang some plastic in front of the doors to keep any warm air in the shed when you open them?

For the wall baskets, how about something tough and cold-hardy like ivy?
