Container grown green bell peppers

imscatteredAugust 25, 2013

I have had a harvest of 6 green peppers from one plant. I thought it was done but now it is setting new blossoms. The pot is smallish and soil is miracle grow potting mix only. I would suppose that the nutrition in it would be limited now. I'd love to have a 2nd batch. Do I need to add new potting mix and/or use all purpose miracle grow??

You do not need new soil. You may have to fertilize. I use rotted leaf duff for my potting soil and use sterile urine for plant food. The plants did very well and were very productive. .

Definitely fertilize! Not sure about your growing zone as far as time to have a second batch grow in. I hope you get them! :)
