Pro Choice Red instead of Turface MVP for Gritty Mix

Higgsr1August 5, 2013

I was looking for Turface MVP when I came across a distributor of lawn care and sports field products. They did not have Turface but the customer care employee said that Pro Choice Red is there version of Turface. She said people do come in and by it for a Bonsai soil mix Would Pro Choice Red be a good substitute for Turface MVP for gritty mix?

Amn info would be appreciated.

I briefly looked at the website, I did not see any mention of particle size, but as long as the majority of the particles are between 1/8 to 1/4, it looks good.

Thanks, for the input.
Yes I screened everything between 1/8 -1/4. There actually was not much dust in the bag compared to oil dry and napa material so I got to use alot of the bag.
