Huanglongbing (Citrus Greening) in Los Angeles

pennypond USDA 10 Sunset 21 CAApril 14, 2012

Sorry for the cross posting. I think many people visit this forum and it's a serious disease. The story appeared on the front page of today's Los Angeles Times. A good story, on a threatening disease.

It's in TX (orchard) and it was confirmed in AZ (residential) just a few weeks ago.

It's nasssssssssssssty. Florida is hurting from it and it's a big reason we've seen OJ hit milk-levels of prices. Florida grows a lot of juice oranges...a lot of our "eating" citrus comes from the South-West.
