Foundation Grading

trigrl09July 3, 2012

What type of soil should I use to grade the soil around my foundation. Will top soil work? They sell 25L bags here. I thought I could buy a bunch of those would this work with grass planted on top?

It looks like the soil has sunk over the past 40 years.

Top soil is what you'd want to use where you want to grow plants. Bags seem an expensive way to go unless you don't have much to do. Calculate the total amount needed and see how many bags required before you start.
