Looks like an ice plant same texture but has orange flowers that look like tiny rose blooms when fully open. Buds close at night. Any ideas????
Could it be Portulaca(moss rose)?
can ya take a pic and post it? also you can put it on photobucket.com and its free. then post it to here, people can look at it :') they'll be able to tell ya for sure if they know LOL ~medo
Medo I'm technologically disabled, lol, I'm lucky I'm able to email you most times, lol. But I will figure it out because I went to the library and I have a guess so I need some input as to if I'm correct. I "THINK" it's Lampranthus aureus; for those of us who are also botanical named challenged, Golden (orange) Ice Plant. Which I didn't know they came in orange I thought goldens were yellow but from what I can see they come orange as well. Either way the little critter is shooting tons of seeds at me and I wasn't sure what the plant was even called. It's one my 6 year old picked up off the $2 shelf at the local nursery that didn't have a tag so I didn't pay much attention to it. NOW I'm paying attention because it's doubled in size and has a load of flowers and likes to seed. I will work on the picture tonight. Thank you as well rbrady for your guess. I can still be wrong so I need to check yours out as well. I will update you if I don't break the computer trying to force it to upload a picture tonight, lol.
Question CLOSED- Orange Moss Rose is what it is!!! Thank you
