German Ikea Avocado Like Plant

HDFXDB(5a)November 18, 2011

I was in the Army a couple years ago and bought a plant from an Ikea when I was there. Obviously I had to leave it and now that I have gotten back into plants I'm trying to remember what it was.

It grew from a seed, much like an avocado and was super hardy! I bought it, never transplanted it, set it in a west facing window, and watered it IF I remembered to. lol I remember back then wondering why it never got any bigger... but it never died either.

If this sounds like a plant anyone is familiar with please let me know!

Thanks in advance.

The flavor is 'acquired' and the anecdotal evidence of its toxicity is too widespread to be discounted.
