Can beans be grown in containers?? What are some of the out of the ordinary veggies have some grown in Containers always looking for something new to try
I think bush beans are easier for containers than vine/climberstypes would be. This link has an example: http://www.seedsavers.org/onlinestore/bean/Bean-Bumble-Bee.html
Hope you find a type that works for you.
I used to cut the tops off of 2liter bottles and use them to grow bell peppers. Got some decent yields too.
I grow lots of things in 5 gallon buckets:
Bush beans (needed watering)
Potatoes in totes:
Also peppers, cukes, lettuce, spinach, zucchini & squash in containers (not the most attractive photo off season)
