Can beans be grown in containers?? What are some of the out of the ordinary veggies have some grown in Containers always looking for something new to try

I think bush beans are easier for containers than vine/climberstypes would be. This link has an example: http://www.seedsavers.org/onlinestore/bean/Bean-Bumble-Bee.html

I used to cut the tops off of 2liter bottles and use them to grow bell peppers. Got some decent yields too.

I grow lots of things in 5 gallon buckets:
Snow Peas

Bush beans (needed watering)

Potatoes in totes:

Also peppers, cukes, lettuce, spinach, zucchini & squash in containers (not the most attractive photo off season)
