Tired of Mowing So I Started Digging & Digging

Please tell me your honest opinion of the bed layouts. I need it because I over analyze everything. Nothings finished doing it for cheap & by hand, going for high impact no budget. For example the obelisk cost $16 to make. Seeking suggestions, bed layout changes, plant combinations, fresh ideas.

You have some nice plantings. You might consider replacing some of the grass pathways with, say, shredded bark pathways to tie some of the beds together and give your landscape a more integrated look.

Your probably referring to the Photoshop; most of it's planted thought just too insignificant to give me an idea of what it might look like. The wisteria and golden chain tree have yet to arrive arrive; hope they do, bought them from a shady online nursery. Anyway I eventually plan on having paths of crushed limestone edged with lannon.

I like the idea of mulch paths behind the vegetable garden since it's full of buried cable and electrical I could just put it down over a barrier & not dig out the grass.

If you do mulch paths, kill all the grass first! When top with cardboard, then mulch.
