Pleasing planting combinations

Sometimes a planting scheme just turns out so right when all the plants tie a scene together, colors really mesh, contrasting forms get your attention, and it looks this good and stays in bloom for over half the year. Here's a garden planting scheme where I think it really did come together, do you have photos of something that really pleased you more and more as it grew in?

I have a few gardens that I enjoy visiting to see how they are evolving.
These visits keep me informed about the nuances of growing plants, dealing with drought, understanding how to better provide maintenance schedules and choose the right plant for the right space and the right client.

My favourite plantings have always been done by someone more creative than me. Just hope to meet him on good terms someday :)

Certainly agree that nature always does it best, and there is no real competing with her/Him/it, (depending on your beliefs). I like to think that my garden designs take lessons from what I see in natural settings, but will readily admit I would never try to replicate nature, but pay tribute...
