Looking for ideas on how to enclose the area under my shed

festucablueOctober 23, 2007

My shed is on high stilts, aprox.10 feet at its highest point, on a slope, and I use the underneath area for storage. Needless to say it's unsightly and I am looking for suggestions on how to enclose it; am hoping to find a solution that is cheap,I can do it myself, will last at least a few years with low or no maintenance, and that will blend with the surrounding forest. Whimsical and practical suggestions are welcomed alike. Thank you.

How about framing it in somehow and using saplings to create vertical screening placed close together. Is this in the woods, or will people be able to see it?

The garden junk forum might have a lot of ideas.

We have framed PT lattice (no raw edges showing) under our screened porch and our deck. It's the heavy duty lattice.

Yes, lattice would be great, but it would cost me a few hundreds. I am so happy you mentioned saplings, saypoint; it's exactly what I envisioned, but wasn't quite sure how to go about it. Started collecting long branches, maybe by spring I'll have enough to cover the whole area.
Thanks.
