normal chicken poop

msjay2u(7)February 5, 2009

I was going to ask about chicken poop and what it should look like normally. I did a search on the internet and found the link below. pretty disgusting I have to admit since we are talking poop but I thought some of you might be interested to learn what is normal. I thought my chicks were getting sick or something but apparantly it is normal.

sorry if I skeezed you out.

Here is a link that might be useful: chicken poop chart

If your geese have worms what do you treat them with? Don't want to wait until it happens.

Fantastic info! I get asked about poop (chicken, that is!) a lot, so this is really healpful. :) Like the saying goes, 'Is their poop consistently abnormal or normally consistent?' Depends on what's 'normal' for each bird.

I found this link that has some info on geese and worms. Hope it helps. I do not have any myself but I heard they are organic weed eaters. LOL

Hi all,

OK MsJay, I am officially "skeezed" out--LOL just kidding good information. Was actually very imformative, thanks a bunch.

I also would like everybody to know that the wheat grass I was growing in my kitchen has been a great success with the chickens- and Brendon they did love it! I take out two trays at a time and they eat it up in about 5 minutes.
As soon as I remember how to post a picture I will post it so that you can see how much.

Yeah it was good info for me but also VERY skeezy! LOL

I knew it helped me and I posted it because it might help others but I was not sure if it would be well received. I was waiting to get flamed. Or I thought a certain person was going to challenge that the pictures were wrong. LOL

Thanks!
