has my gander gone sterile?

saffron_parasol(4a WI)June 15, 2013

Hi! reposting this issue under a new title, maybe I'll catch someone's eye with a similar problem/solution, with the new title? ;-) Thanks for any previous advice, tho!
So, I have a trio of Pilgrims, 2 geese and 1 gander. My gander was sterile the 1st year. 2nd year, 10 healthy goslings. 3rd and 4th years, not a single egg hatched, despite all the mating. What could be wrong? I fear this is permanent. Any advice is much appreciated!
