A humorus look at life lived close to the earth

snap3peasJuly 24, 2009

I just finished laughing because I just finished reading this new book that you might be interested in, "Tales As Tall As A Sunflower," by Stephen Butterman of Ohio. In case you started to woder if all humor had to be "dirty," this book will answer, "yes!" (as in earthy!). The humor comes from kids, veggies, neighbors, insect and weed pests, and some homemade wine, but its all funny, and it all has to do with growing things. (It also pokes fun at urban life and trends such as political correctness.)Just thought you'd like to check it out. I got my copy from the publisher (link below), but amazon probably has it, too.

Here is a link that might be useful: Tales page at Bellissima Publishing

Welcome. I'm always interested in books of this type (not that too many are exactly "this type"), so if you know of or find out about others, please let me know!
