I was wondering if chickene get to old to eat?? After a couple of good laying years, can you eat them or are they too old? Is 3 or 4 yrs. still good to eat?

they would be tough as shoe leather... if you wanted to you could stew them with a pressure cooker.. and they would make a really tasty broth, without the cooker. you just wouldn't be then able to eat the meat
