using Vet RX and/or Thieves Oil on hens

quirkpod(7 Lewisville NC)October 24, 2010

I just read about this to treat sneezing, which is occuring with one of my hens. I read it in a book titled City Chicks, published 2010 and is a very comprehensive book on raising small flocks of hens in city limits. Has anyone else used either of these aromatic products?

Yes, VetRx is a staple in my chicken medicine cabinet... it is very effective and natural way to treat respiratory issues. I usually put a few drops under the wing and if necessary, I put a couple of drops in the drinking water. I hope you find it helpful, good luck !
