That just screams at me to get rid of the grass and cover with a cottage-style garden! Put in a stone pathway from one end to the other and just cover in plants!
...but that's me : )
omg, I had not looked at amateur expert's response and thought the very thing. What an incredible house and street! Have fun.
Love the house!
ADORE that house! I see a rustic fence and lots of climbing roses, foxglove, peonies, simple cottage-y flowers...
Great resource: Pleasures of the Cottage Garden by Rand Lee.
I'm in full agreement. Get rid of the grass and turn that house into an English cottage garden. I'm seeing a lot of roses, clematis vines, flowers that attract butterflies and birds. You could go totally wild on flowers and not be garish.
Most English gardens tend towards purples, pinks, whites and blues.
Very neat looking house. Where is it? Looks like England to me :)
