I found these growing wild at a park in Baton rouge
Love Passionflower Vines. Their roots are tenacious and run everywhere, even under sidewalks to get to the other side. Frustrated, I pulled mine out. The following year, I didn't have nearly the butterflies. I made a promised that I'd never do that again and just let the butterfly caterpillars do their thing. I enjoyed seeing them.
Would you be interested in exchanging some seeds for white rain lilies, zephranthes drummondii. They go drought tolerant quickly as natives.
The flowers are a piece of work. The vines send up new shoots everyyear Have them everywhere..They also give fruit but mine never got big.
